Electrical & Instrumentation Apprenticeship

Ready to start a hands-on career in the electrical and instrumentation trades?

Programmed, in partnership with Yara Pilbara, is offering an exciting opportunity for people in the Karratha community to undertake an Electrical & Instrumentation Apprenticeship commencing in 2027.

Over four years, you'll earn while you learn, gain nationally recognised qualifications and develop practical skills working alongside experienced tradespeople within Yara Pilbara's operations.

This is an opportunity to build a highly valued trade career while gaining hands-on experience in a major industrial environment right here in Karratha.

ABOUT YARA PILBARA

Situated on the scenic Burrup Peninsula, Yara Pilbara hosts one of the world's largest ammonia production facilities, supplying fertiliser to support global agricultural needs. Adjacent to the fertilizer plant is the Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) Plant, producing essential products for the Australian mining sector.

Yara Pilbara is also spearheading initiatives in Western Australia to establish a groundbreaking renewable hydrogen hub in the Pilbara region.

Yara embraces diversity across all operations, practices, and engagements. Yara encourages individuals from various walks of life, experiences, skills, genders and orientations, races, and backgrounds to pursue opportunities within their growing business. Yara's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion serve as their foundation, with everyone contributing to Yara's success.
